What Is It?
Pre-service and in-service education courses (JESP’s) are available to teachers in local Jewish schools.
Courses include content, methods, and specific skills.
Most courses consist of four sessions although some vary in length.

Coaching
Coaching is an option provided as a follow-up to a particular class to help implement techniques presented. The coach, a master teacher, observes the classroom and works with the participating teacher providing help to adapt techniques for the appropriate grade level and subject.

Mentoring
A mentor is an experienced teacher who works closely with a new teacher to facilitate and ensure greater success in the classroom. The mentor is a resource on whom the new teacher can depend for assistance in areas such as school expectations, lesson planning, classroom management ideas, etc.
