Professional Development Department Provides pre-service and continuing education growth opportunities, and recruits high-quality teachers, and educational leaders for our local Jewish schools.

The Department of Professional Development envisions every educator working in a Jewish setting using effective teaching strategies, creating rich learning environments, and strengthening the home-school connection.

By offering a broad range of professional growth opportunities including, workshops, coaching/mentoring, educational seminars, grants, and special projects, the Professional Development Department endeavors to equip every educator working in the full range of Jewish educational settings with the tools and the support needed to make Jewish learning compelling and meaningful. In addition, the department serves as a recruitment and job clearinghouse center for local Jewish schools.
