B'Tzelem: Jewish Teen Learning Companions is a training program of the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland designed to help create more inclusive Jewish classrooms. The program trains teen learning companions twice yearly to support students with special needs in the religious school classrooms. These teens are then supervised and matched by their religious school with students whose comfort and competence with their Jewish learning would benefit from individual or small-group work. The participation of motivated teen companions provides another pathway for their deepened Jewish identity and involvement.
