IPDP and Pre-Approval Forms

 

Licensure Forms, Videos and Documentation

Please keep in mind that not all PD submissions will meet LPDC criteria for approval. Please reach out to Teresa Bruno [email protected] if you require further clarification.

 

Getting PD opportunities pre-approved is ideal. Approval after the fact is not a given.

 

Submission for pre-approval CAN NOT be made if more than six [6] months have passed since the completion of the class/workshop.

 

 

Individual Professional Development Plan [IPDP]:

Required for each new 5-year license.

Plan entails three PD goals taken from the Ohio Standards for the Teaching.

Begin goals with ‘I’ statements; reference the guide below.

 

Pre-Approval Form:

Required for each professional development course/activity.

Only 15 points of professional development can be earned; per calendar year, from non-accredited teaching university/colleges. Max of 75 points allowed per license cycle. [Example:15 X 5 = 75]

               Example: Eureka Math, Writing Revolution, Make Math Moments, LinkedIn...

Include supporting documentation.

Course/Activity date should be complete [MM/DD/YYYY]

PD opportunities MUST align with your area of licensure & IPDP goals.
