Senior Staff Position: Educational Consultant

The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland seeks a vision-driven, creative professional (five years minimum experience in the field of Jewish education) to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a masters’ degree in Jewish education, and be comfortable working with key partners (e.g., heads of school and other educational administrators, teachers, and volunteer leaders) from all segments of the Jewish community, including day schools, youth professionals, and congregational schools.

Areas of focus will primarily be implementing the JECC strategic plan to support excellence and sustainability in Jewish education, with particular attention to professional development for schools and providing mentoring and coaching to a broad range of professionals in the field. Experience in educational technology is desired.

The successful candidate will staff a number of key JECC committees, provide grant administration, and be responsible for evaluation of the initiatives in the field.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a meaningful level of Jewish literacy are required.  For more details click here.


Early Childhood Specialist

The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland is searching for an early childhood staff member! This person will support early childhood programs across settings (Cleveland has 13 total - congregational, community-based, and day school). In addition, s/he will offer leadership to the community’s efforts to engage families with young Jewish children.

We’re looking for an educator to forward the mission, vision and strategic plan of the JECC as it relates to early childhood. This means not only scaffolding what our community already does well, but also enabling us move to the next levels of Jewish early childhood education and engagement! For more details click here.
