@akiva Associate Director for Programs and Teen Engagement

 

@akiva is a vibrant place for Cleveland teens to explore and grow in their connection to Judaism and Israel while fostering everlasting friendships. From Israel advocacy, leadership training, and college preparation for Jewish students to original Jewish theatre, @akiva offers Hebrew and so much more!

 

The associate director will collaborate with the @akiva team on community-wide initiatives as a thought partner and implementer; Work with communal teen professionals at congregations and youth movements; Create antisemitism/Israel community initiative(s) to support Jewish students in public and private schools; Work with the Cleveland Shin Shinim as a liaison to the youth movements/congregations

The Jewish Education Center (JEC) actively recruits high-quality teachers and educational leaders to work in local Jewish schools and programs.  The JEC also provides a number of professional development options to help support these individuals in their growth as educators.  If you are interested in working in Jewish education, please send an email introducing yourself and your areas of interest, along with a resume to [email protected].  We will be happy to pass it along to our partners.  They are often in search of:
