we're so happy to be here tonight to honor Cameron list as he ends the fifth year of a four-year term. In his pursuit of the Jewish Education agenda I thought partner and his leadership style is inclusive Kevin always put the community agenda first he led with Integrity have no personal ego or agenda and I think that really was how everybody respected him and Camera table together because they felt like they would be hurt and he always thinks about how to collaborate with others Kamina leader that way to think what he brings most to the table is his ability to look at the entire community and to think at a very high level about how every decision impacts the entire Community. Full history TJ and Kev it is open to the fact that different people learn in different ways and different people connect to Jewish life in different ways the partnership between Federation and the Jewish Education Center is really vital for community's future and we rely on our volunteer leadership in both organization to guide and move us forward Kevin was board chair at perhaps the most pivotal time in recent history on issues that were important like funding for them on the synagogue schools and most particularly on the day school he's a person of the highest integrity you smart you can trust him and those are the things that when he spoke everyone listened and he carried the day I can't think of a single time when the committee went against the recommendations that he'd made when Kevin puts his mom going to working with a group of people he's a very even-handed fair person I think he works with everybody extremely well we're thrown by what came his way when expect any non-profit board chair to face all kinds of challenges but I would think that the combination of a pandemic professional leadership change from senior staff retirement onboarding new staff all of that have with in his five years and he handled it beautifully one of his strengths really is knowing who to bring around the table at what times and he brought in the officers and all kinds of ways most recently with our strategic planning process do we have an outstanding old apartment was a chair while I was there and I did a fantastic job in terms of munching the badger I'm controlling lyrics and ensuring The credibility and success of the jec representative and enabled Jewish education related to thrive in the community because of strong Vision strong strategy and strong financial management in heaven is so many other incredible leaders that I'm such great work in this role I literally stand on the shoulders of giants and I'm hopeful that I can just do a fraction of the amazing job that each of them have done over the many years and their kids on an Israel mission several years ago and as I've gotten to know every member of the Margolis family you can see that wherever they engage in our community will be to the benefit of all type congratulations on your extra-long extra special term is jdc President I'm so lucky that I not only have the best dad ever but also the best pause music proud of you to use your dedication to giving back to our community the impact the Last 5 Years. So proud of you Arizona congratulations Dad is jez board President we are so proud of you and all the work you've done to the Jewish Education in Cleveland so unique and challenging the dedication to volunteer involvement in a juice Andy is inspiration you are the best role we both look forward to getting back to communities we Griffin congratulations
